• Hello, we updated today to this version 2.1.12 – April 20, 2023

Customers can no longer pay at least with Twint which is unacceptable. Do you test your plugins before releasing?

Maybe it was my mistake to update it… How to obtain an older, stable version?

    Thank you

Where do you do that? And it works like that? Thank you for the help.

    @ljshopch : wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-settings&tab=postfinancecheckout the option Integration Options : lightbox

In order to have access to that option I need to activate the plugin first and one I activate I get this message:

Could not activate plugin PostFinance Checkout.

Please check the following requirements before activating:
Woocommerce version supported up to 7.4.1+. (You’re running version 7.6.0)
Could not activate plugin PostFinance Checkout.

I will have to keep our shop going without PostFinance payment methods… It’s embarassing to say the least… @partnerpfco any news?…

Another day goes by and still no answer.

And this since Thursday. This isn’t normal. No proper updates on the issue, possible solutions or troubleshooting. Accesses provided however. How long can it take for PostFinance or Wallee or whatever to fix this? Maybe install a version that works… We can’t have a store without payment methods!!!

Did you try the last version ? with Woocommerce 7.6.1 ?

Hello, it worked but with limitations. We have a plugin which allows the customer to pick a free gift from a list of products. When the customers picks a gift there is the same error with credit card and postfinance card. However with Twint is working. Nevertheless I contacted PostFinance to fix this. We have been using this free gift plugin for years and they should take that into consideration when releasing an update. It has been a week and this hasn’t been fully fixed…

I was wondering if updating woocommerce would work (Didn’t wanted to update because PostFinance are normally working on the site). However I did and it seems it fixed the issue. Not sure 100% however .Waiting for their input. Thanks for the comment.

@partnerpfco, is there a possibility we can expect to have some sort of sandbox in the near future? It will be really nice to have, and test the updates. Problems like this are frustrating and can be terminated with the ability to test better.

Fully in agreement with @eastchef .

@partnerpfco There is a new update (2.1.14) and I’m actually affraid to update it. Can you please confirm that we can go ahead and update the plugin?

    Thank you.

@ljshopch, we updated to 2.1.14 this morning. Till now we have 2 orders on processing for about 10 minutes. So not to sure if it is working now.

Does the plugin work on your site now? What is the plugin version you are using right now for PostFinance and WooCommerce?

    Thread Starter ljshopch

    (@ljshopch)

@eastchef We currently have these versions:

    WordPress: 6.2

    Woocommerce: 7.6.1

    PostFinance: 2.1.13

Orders can be on processing even if everything is working fine but could be an issue of course. If I were you I would place an order and see how it goes, sometimes customers abandon the order mid-payment.

@ljshopch Correct, I made a mistake in the status name. Our 2 orders since updating to 2.1.4 are on pending payment for about 20 mins now.

I’m going to get PF 2.1.3 and WC 7.6.1 in our test environment. I’ll keep you updated

@ljshopch after doing multiple testorder we’ve rolled back to PF version 2.1.11, only that version is currently working for us.

Sorry to hear that but if at least is working that’s already good. But indeed they should consider further testing before releasing an update. On our end we should as well have a testing environment, which we don’t but might come in handy in cases like these. Drop them a phone call, that usually helps.

But coming back to the most recent update 2.1.14, I’ve sent them an email this morning. Waiting for their answer. Scared to update it now when things are working fine.
