Version 2.0.8: Conflict with WP’s next and past post

Version 2.0.8 seems to have created a conflict with the intern WP-link to the next and the past post. It does not give the next or past post anymore but some random (?) posts.

When I deactivate ‘Related Post’, the next and past-links are back to normal.
The issue wasn’t there in version 2.0.6.

I use the plugin as shortcode, so the related articles from the plugin come as last (before comments)
Theme: GeneratePress Premium (but I don’t think the theme is related in this)
