Hi, version 2.0.51.1 fails to create the <span> elements containing the ID’s for the TOC links.

Rolling back to version 2.0.50 fixed the problem.

Not sure what is causing this, the problem persisted also with all other plugins turned off and a standard theme.

Hi, thank you for the update. However, the problem persists.

On testing this update I’ve noticed that the problem occurs when I’m using the shortcode [ez-toc] in a sidebar widget, while the settings for the TOC on the article level are set to ‘off’.

    See the following screenshot:

    https://ibb.co/1vZXnPt

The shortcode will show the correct table of content titles, but without the links.

Once I switch the settings on article level to on, the links appear, but the TOC will also be added to the page content. (Which I don’t want, I only want the TOC to appear on the shortcode location.)

    This setup worked in 2.0.50.

    Thanks again for your time.

It’s a classic custom HTML widget.

Hi, I have the same problem, but unfortunatelly the 2.0.52 version did not solve it for me. Rolled back to 2.0.50. I am also using the shortcode to output the TOC in specific sidebar position / widget. Having the auto insertion disabled and ignoring the article TOC specific setup.
