PLEASE HELP!! In Version 2.0.1 the CKEditor is no longer available in the short description and notes fields. Is there an easy way to put it back? If not, how can I revert back to the previous version? I was able to get the editor in the excerpt field, but that isn’t very helpful.

It would be greatly helpful if the editor was available in the short description, Ingredients, Instruction and the notes section.

I have been testing the free version of this plugin the last week and found that it was perfect for my needs. I was thinking of upgrading to the pro version until this update removed the editor from the short description and notes fields. The update has made the plugin useless for my purpose. Having the editor in the short description and notes section are essential for my needs.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks
    Dan

I restored my site from a backup from earlier this morning before I upgraded to the new version and got the editor back in the short description and notes fields. However I really need to insert internal and external links for proper SEO and to do this I need the editor in the ingredients and instruction fields as well. Is it possible to add them in these fields? Is this something that is planned for a later version?

I really need answers before I put any more work into my site. If this is not planned or possible I need to find another plugin. I really don’t want to do that as I LOVE Boo Recipe. I would be willing to upgrade to the Pro version if it had the editor in these 4 fields.

    Thanks

    Hi Dan,

The plan is to move to Gutenberg editor which is the editor for wordpress after version 5.0.

If the old WYSIWYG editor is required, i shall see what i can do to bring it back.

Expected turn around on this one is within a couple of days.

I really hope you don’t move to Gutenberg editor. I HATE Gutenberg, I disabled it and went back. I sincerely hope that WordPress will drop Gutenberg or at least make it optional.

I really need the WYSIWYG editor. I actually use WP Edit. It would be really great if you could add it to the ingredients and instructions fields as well.

Please if you would, let me know when you update it.

    Thanks so much
    Dan
