    Hello,
For some reason, my site automatically updated to Creative Version 1.5. Unfortunately, when it did, it changed the default font from Open Sans to Times New Roman. But when I go into the customize settings, it says that the current font is open sans. And even when I try to select a different one, the site still shows Times New Roman. I am guessing this is a bug because when I first installed Creative, Open Sans was the default font it came with. It looks much better than the aging Times New Roman. If you guys could fix that, I’d appreciate it.
    Thanks!

    Hi..

In theme default Font is Open Sans, your theme does not loading the google font.

Please de-activate all your plugin one by one and check it.

    Thanks.

I haven’t deactivated the plugins, but I did update to WordPress Version 4.5, and now everything has been restored back to normal. Thanks for your help!

Okay, so I thought all was well, but nope – it’s not. When I am not logged into wordpress, it goes back to Times New Roman. ?? Do you still suggest that I should deactivate my plugins?

    Hi..

Please go to parent theme directory.

Open functions.php file, now remove “verdana” font from line no. 95 where google font api enqueued.

Also open customizer.php file, now remove vereada font option from line no.1076

    save the changes.

    Let’s know further assistance.

    Thanks.

Okay I removed Verdana from the files like you said, but unfortunately it didn’t fix the problem. ?? I’m going to try deactivating all my plugins like you said. Did you guys fix this in your latest version of the Creative theme? I have version 1.5 and I see that you have version 1.6 now.
    Thanks for your help!

I removed the Verdana from the files in WordPress, but when I went to the functions.php file on my computer to remove it, it wasn’t there. Open Sans is there instead. I wonder why it’s not working? The customizer.php file on my computer didn’t have a line 1076. It ended at line 900 something. However, I searched for Verdana in the files in WordPress, found it, and removed it. Still not working unfortunately.
Deactivated plugins, didn’t work. I’ve reactivated them now.

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi..

You are using another theme, please install creative theme first.
