I am pretty sure this error started when the plugin was updated to Version 1.0.55. At the top of every page on the site this error appears when the page loads:

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/p3pnexwpnas14_data01/37/3037637/html/wp-content/plugins/event-calendar-wd/includes/ecwd-display-class.php:2) in /home/content/p3pnexwpnas14_data01/37/3037637/html/wp-content/themes/ifeaturepro5/cyberchimps/functions.php on line 1461

If I deactivate the plugin the error goes away.

    thanks,

    bryan

  • Are you able to log in to your website? I installed this plug-in on Tuesday but did NOT add it to a page yet. Yesterday I tried to log-in to our website from three different browsers and these error messages popped up:

Well not sure, I was already logged in and was updating plugins, I then looked at the site in another window and saw the problem. I was able to do stuff in admin at that point, since I was already logged in. Plugin is deactivated at the moment so all is fine, but if I activated it, logged out and then tried to log back in and may not be able to. Not sure I want to try that at this point!

Oh, I see. I would like to deactivate it too but I can’t log in! I was able to find Web-Dorado’s direct contact information: https://web-dorado.com/support/contact-us.html

I sent them a message through the contact form and an email a few hours ago. I’m still waiting for a response.

Sounds good – thanks for doing that!

Update – A second site, which I updated the plugin on yesterday, does not get the error described above, but when I went to upload a graphic into the media center a little bit ago, I get the error “An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.” Very generic error, but I also can not view any media in the media center, it just spins forever like it is loading.

I deactivated the plugin and the problem was solved. Reactivate and problem returns.

I’ve had this happen on a site running the plugin as well. I’m unable to access the wp-admin page to login and had to remove the plugin via FTP.

Hoping for a working update ASAP.

    Dear users,

We are working on an update right now. It will be released soon to resolve all of the stated issues. Meanwhile remove the plugin from your wp-plugins section using ftp. Sorry for the inconvenience faced. It is related to the older version of PHP used in your sites, the issue is not present with sites using newest version of PHP. Thank you for your understanding.

    Dear users,

I have the same issue since the update along with it making google analyitics unresponsive. Error i get is below. When deactivated, everything is fine.

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by
    (output started at
    /home1/geri/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-calendar-wd/includes/
    ecwd-display-class.php:2) in
    /home1/geri/public_html/wp-includes/option.php on line 821

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by
    (output started at
    /home1/geri/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-calendar-wd/includes/
    ecwd-display-class.php:2) in
    /home1/geri/public_html/wp-includes/option.php on line

seen the update after i posted update fixed my issues but now getting this error when trying to access the page.
Fatal error: Unknown: Cannot use output buffering in output buffering display handlers in Unknown on line 0

Does anyone have instructions of how to remove it via FTP?

    Hi iugroup,

Via FTP, just rename the plugin folder ‘event-calendar-wd’ to something like ‘event-calendar-wd.disabled’. That will trick WP into not loading it. You should be able to login afterwards.
