• I’ve bene using The Events Calendar plugin on multiple sites for the last year and a half.I’ve only had one problem. It wouldn’t update inside the wp-admin panel and I had to use FTP. That’s it. Nothing else has ever gone wrong. I can tell the plugin to display the events in a calendar or in a listed fashion. The UI and UX work really well with every theme that I’ve built. I’ve actually gotten to the point of building a specific template into each theme I use, just for the plugin itself. That way I can show a wider version of the calendar, or I can have a never ending scroll of pst events.

  • This is an awesome review, GeekStreetWP — the level of detail here is fantastic and gives some great insight into your experience with it. Thank you, from all of us on the team. (And don’t let the fact that my reply is coming 2 months after the fact suggest that we appreciate it any less).

That problem you described regarding the wp-admin update failing is very bizarre. Was that a repeating problem, or just a one-off issue? If you ever have to manually install the plugin again I’d be interested in hearing whether it persisted, or if it was a one-off / something that was patched in a subsequent release.

Everything else sounds like smooth sailing…the custom templates you’re creating for different themes sound awesome! If you ever wanted to submit any of your work to our showcase (https://theeventscalendar.com/showcase/), we’d love to have it.

Until then — thanks again for the feedback and for your review. Cheers man.
