Verify email does not arrive

I have setup the verify email plugin with calerda. While testing the email does not come through as the ‘web owner’ as well as the ‘visitor’.

When the verify plugin was not installed on the form all emails came through immediately.
What could be wrong?

I can not find any documentation on the setup of this plugin to work with the forms.
