    Hi
I’m using free Yith woocommerce review reminder plugin to send reviews requests to customers after pruchasing.
I ask the customers to review each product they purchased and show them the
products in the email I send them.
The problem is when they make the review for more than 1 product –
1 review is with the “verified owner” text but the others – Not !
    Why ?
I checked the time of the review and saw that in one case, the first review did not
get the “verified owner”, the second review got it and the third not.
    Any idea ?

The verified owner label will only appear on reviews left by accounts that have a past order that contains the product they are reviewing. If the customer left the review from a different account, or while logged out, the label won’t be applied to the review.

Can you verify whether all the reviews came from a registered account that does have a past order with that product in it?

    Thanks for your promt reply.
I know that the label is for someone who purchased the product and that is why I posted this problem.
I am in a middle of a campaign which send emails to customers who purchased our products with a link to each product they bought.
I have noticed that when a customer make a review on one product, the review is with the verified label.
But when the customer bought three products and makes a review for each one of them, the verify label appears only for one of the products.
I did not watch the customers while doing it so I can not tell you they did not log out during the reviews but you can understand it is not logical that it happened for all the customers with 3 reviews (2 customers so far as we are in the beggining of the campaign) and for 1 customer the second review got the label so it is not loggical that this customer logged in only for the second review and then logged out and add the third review.

What I was asking you to verify, was whether the reviews were all coming from the same email address. There are two ways in which the plugin can verify ownership of a product:

    • If the user was logged in to their account when they left the review.
    • If the user, even while logged OUT, left the review using the same email address that they have registered on the account that was used to originally purchase the product.

What I was thinking is that they may have left the reviews while logged out of their account, but wrote different email addresses (either willingly or by accident) when leaving the different reviews. You can check what email they gave by going to the Comments section in the dashboard and looking for those reviews.

I tested this on my end, leaving multiple reviews, but each one of them was marked with the verified owner tag every time.

So, if you confirm they are all coming from correct, verified owner email addresses – you might want to look at potential plugin conflicts next. Does the issue still happen when you test on a site with just the Storefront theme and WooCommerce enabled? That’s what I’d recommend testing next.

    Thanks for your reply.
I can confirm that the reviews were all coming from the same email address but still
2 out of 3 were not marked as verifed owner.
If you know about any conflicts with other plugins it might have happen I will be happy to hear.

The best thing to do in this situation is conduct some plugin and theme conflict testing.

1.) To begin, please make sure that your theme and all plugins are up to date.

2.) Try to deactivate all the plugins except for WooCommerce to see if the issue persists. If the problem goes away, re-activate and test each plugin to see if you can determine which plugin the problem originates from.

3.) If the above does not resolve the issue, try switching your theme to the Storefront theme (https://woocommerce.com/storefront/) and see if it works correctly. If it does, you’ll want to contact your theme’s developers and see if they have a fix/update.

    OK
I will try to test it as your suggestions.

    Thanks

    Hi @webcart,

Did the items work? Please let us know ??

    Hi @mike
No. I did not test it.
    The procedure is too long.
I left the things as they were.
