verification tag for webmaster tool google

  • I lern from the guid that to insert verification tag for google webmaster tool i need to open new page and insert the file that google give me as the title for that page. i did it and for some resone google dont accept it and say that he recieve 404 error. this is my url https://www.herramientasempresariales.com.mx
    can u please help me with that?
    i also tried to enter the head and insert meta tag buy google advise that the server react slowly

    No – you need to create a new file using the filename that Google gave you and upload that file to your site using FTP.

    You have set custom 404 page for your web site so you will need to verify your account using META verification only. Insert META between <head></head> tag in your themes header.php file.
