    Hi!

    I have been using WP User Manager Plugin for the purpose of logging in to my Online Program that is within my website since 2019. And all worked well until a couple of months ago when for every log in attempt, it started displaying a message

    Verification Required

    It is quite straight-forward what action is required – just open a new email and click the verification link, but many people do not know to do this (I know, I know) + it is very much annoying + the “remember me” button does not work.

    Does anyone have a solution to this?

    Hi @biljnaishrana ,

    Are there any new changes within your site? Could you please try to deactivate other plugins except for WPUM and see if button will properly work, such could also be a theme issue so please also consider reverting to a default WordPress theme for testing purposes only.

    Furthermore, the verification is not built-in within WPUM only, you will need an addon to do this – https://wpusermanager.com/addons/user-verification/
    If you have this active, then you can just proceed in disabling the plugin so the users will not need to verify their registration.

    Hi @biljnaishrana have you got WordFence installed? This isn’t a feature of WP User Manager so likely to be another plugin like WordFence

    Hi Mark!

    Thank you for your assistance. I have been suspecting that WordFence is the culprit, so I’ll try to deactivate that one.

    There we go! I have just deactivated the WordFence and there is no that annoying message anymore!
