    Hi,

    I had a user join yesterday and when they clicked on the verification link, they just kept getting the error:

    “Safari cannot open the page because it could not establish a secure connection to the server.”

    Any ideas please?

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello,

    Thanks for reaching out. We are sorry to know that you are having difficulties.

    In the plugin’s settings, under the Advanced section, please try to change the option under Advanced Options > Authenticate filter. Also set the Prevent login after register > Login prevention method option as Use login filter from WooCommerce.

    If the problem persists, then please let me know.

    Best regards,
    Moshtafizur

    @moshtafizur01 thank you. I’ve set Authentication Filter to “authenticate” filter and changed Login Prevention Method to “Use login filter from Woocommerce.”

    Hi @craigmckee ,

    Please update the plugin to version 2.3.5 and let us know if it helps.

    Ok, will do. @karzin do I keep the settings as they were originally?

    @craigmckee ,
    If the modified settings work better you can keep it, no problem.

    @karzin I’m not sure if they were the ones that caused the fatal error…

    @craigmckee ,

    Probably this message was something related to the browser itself:

    “Safari cannot open the page because it could not establish a secure connection to the server.”

    Sometimes Safari shows that message for silly things, like sites without https for example. Maybe that could be the cause and I’m not sure if we can help so much in that case.

    But the other fatal error is most probably related to our plugin. Some other user reported the same problem and we were able to fix it in the most recent version of the plugin

    @karzin thank you. I’ll give it a go and come back if it’s still not working.
