I have changed the permalinks so they are now:

Register: https://portal.acquisinsurance.com/register
Login: https://portal.acquisinsurance.com/myaccount

Although it’s stopped working entirely now, it doesn’t even create the user or send the email. I’m not really sure what else has changed that could have caused this.

OK, I’ve setup a whole new installation of WordPress (with a new database) and installed the plugin. Now it doesn’t send the verification email at all. I get the admin email to say a new user has registered, but the verification email doesn’t arrive (I’ve tried various addresses and checked spam folders).

This plugin seems so flaky and unstable. How can I troubleshoot these issues? Can it log to a file? I’m losing confidence in it and may have to try a more stable plugin.

I still can’t get this working. I have managed to get the mail to send, but the verification link still doesn’t work, it just takes me to the logon page and the account remains in a ‘pending’ state. Can anyone help with this please?

After a bit of playing around I can get the link to work by changing the default link to:

{{home_url}}/wp-login.php?ur_token={{email_token}}

but that just uses the default WP pages.

Can anyone help me resolve this please? I’ve been trying to figure it out for days.

in my website i am facing the same issue, the verification link is not working.
firstly i register then got confirmation email with verification link and after clicking link login page opens after filling login info. it shows error;
“ERROR: Your account is still pending approval. Verify your email by clicking on the link sent to your email. Resend Verification Link”
Please help me fix the problem

My case, user role set for verication email. Email has sent to customer, but the verification link not generate at all . It said thank you for sign up.Please click the following link to activate your account.Activate your account (this show in plain text not link).
Wondering, where the link create from? so I have to set in somewhere? please help. Try to get my website live, and it is stuck. Thanks

This still isn’t resolved (not sure why it keeps getting marked as resolved). I have contacted the developers but none of the suggestions have worked, they now say it is a server configuration issue but I need them to tell me what it could be so I can fix it.

THis is the either plug-in or wordpress problem. Not the server. Actually, I think it is the plug-in, must missing some codes that prevent the link to create.. Developers should look at this. and it is easy to replicate the problem.
