Verification doesn’t work if link is clicked from a different browser/client

There seems to be a bug with the validation link. If I fill out the form in google chrome and click the validation link in firefox (or vice versa), the validation link takes me to a blank page and the form entries do not update with the new email address.

Yes, I’m still getting a blank screen under this circumstance. I saw the blank screen when trying to validate on FireFox after having signed up on Chrome. I also verified that nothing was being saved in the DB after clicking the link.
