ver 2.3 release pre-announcement

Hello. Thank you for using our ‘JPEGcrypto WordPress Plugin’. We are pleased to announce that we are going to release ver 2.3 plugin by the end of this Feb. Major 2 updates to be applied are listed below.

[1] No need to edit HTML

You, so far, need to edit HTML so that you can add ‘protect_image’ attribute to class in img tag. Ver 2.3 let you insert decent HTML description without doing that any more. The only thing you need to do will be ‘select encrypted image with Media Library (GUI)’ then appropriate HTML description will be inserted to the document. This works not only with legacy WordPress editor but with ‘infamous’ Gutenberg. No matter which editor you use, you just need to do ‘select media’, that’s it.

[2] GUI based simple image encryption process

Encryption of image will become GUI based and simple. What you need in encrypting images will be ‘select an image and click a button’. Then encrypted image gets uploaded to the Media Library of your WordPress admin tool. This simple process will exclude chances for your encrypted images to get edited/resized by mistake.

こんにちは。’JPEGcrypto WordPress Plugin’をお使いいただき有難うございます。2018年2月末までに新たなバージョン（ver. 2.3）をリリースする予定となりましたので、主な２つの変更点をあらかじめおしらせします。

[1] HTMLをマニュアルで書き換える必要が無くなります

現時点で暗号化された画像をページに貼る際は img タグに class=”protect_image” を記述するためにClassic EditorでHTMLを手書きで書き換えていると思います。ver 2.3ではこの作業が不要になります。エディタ上部の「メディアを追加」ボタンをクリックして、Media Libraryに保存されている暗号化済み画像をGUIで選択すれば、自動的に必要な img タグがエディタに挿入されるようになります。この機能は多くの方が使っている従来のエディタでだけではなく、WordPress5.0でリリースされた（悪名高い）グーテンベルグでも利用できます。

[2] 画像の暗号化プロセスをGUI化してシンプルに

現時点では暗号化ツールを使って暗号化した画像をいったんダウンロードし、それをメディアライブラリにアップロードしていると思います。このプロセスをGUIだけでできるようにシンプルにします。暗号化された画像は自動的にメディアライブラリに保存されるようになります。その際には通常の画像ではなく「暗号化されたデータ」とWordPressが判断するように保存されるので、通常の画像として扱われることで勝手に編集されたりサイズ変更されることも無くなります。

他にも貴方のお役に立てるアップデートに取り組んでいます。
