Venues will not update in Calendar Display

    Several of our games we are playing at a different venue than what we have auto-prescribed for teams in this league. When we manually change the venue, the calendar display would not update. So we removed all prescribed venues from the teams in this league, but still Field 6 is displayed in the front end.

    We cleared the cache software, did a database sweep, viewed it on new browsers, viewed after changing vpn.

    Thoughts? Assist.

    Thanks for reaching out and I’m sorry for the trouble.

    It looks like you have some custom code there. What happens when you disable all your plugins and switch to a default theme such as Rookie or Twenty Seventeen?

    Hi – tested with Twenty17 and Twenty16. Issue not resolved. ??

    Tried pulling the code to see if that helped. Didn’t. ??

    I still see all plugins and custom theme activated here. Would it be possible for you to leave them disabled? We need to check the source code and see how it works with the default theme and no plugins.

    Hi Roch –

    I was able to get the venues to update by disabling SportsPress, deleting htaccess and then reactivating SportsPress. I’m not sure why this worked, it’s sort of like unplugging the VCR back in the day and then plugging it back in. I just gave that a try and it seemed to do the trick.

    Should another user encounter this same snag, suggest this I guess?

    Absolutely! I’ll make sure to include instructions to disabling SportsPress as well, often we don’t do this.
