I really like the Events Calendar, but I have a rather baffling bug: my venues are not displaying in individual event pages.

If you visit the above (list) view of our calendar, you can see the venues are clearly listed, and the Google Map link works as well.

If you click through to an individual event, the venue is not displayed at all. (It should appear below the + Google Calendar and + ICAL Export buttons, I believe). The venue information is properly encoded into those two export buttons.

We’re using the Avada theme and WooCommerce for our workshop and membership sales. Everything *should* be compatible with The Events Calendar, but I’m baffled as to why the venues don’t display.

  • hi,

i’m just chiming in and wonder if you’ve saved the venue in the admin. just a thought.

are you using a shortcode or widget to display the events?

did you purchase PRO version… and can you submit a ticket w TEC paid support services?

    Hi Sprowt —

Yes, I created all the venues before creating the events. The editor shows them all properly, and I have no trouble selecting and assigning one.

This is just using the native display code: The link I show takes you to the standard list view of our calendar, which shows the venues. If you click on one of the events, it goes to the standard event page. That *does not* show the venue. I’ve examined the html source generated for the page and it’s not present at all. The JSON data *is* present for the add-to-calendar buttons, so the lookup for the venue is actually working.

This is with the free version, so I cannot submit a ticket.
