Venue map thumbnail broken

    Great work with this! Thank you for making a little league volunteers life so much easier!!!

    I am having an issue with a broken thumbnail for a venue I created. When I open the venue tab in the site the venue and address show but the map shows a broken icon. I tested in ie, firefox and chrome and another computer and the problem persists.

    I deactivated the plugins, etc… pretty new to wordpress. Thanks in advance!!!

    Well, this is a bit perplexing. First if you copy the URL for the map thumbnail image source right off your site:

    https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/staticmap?center=Scott Township,Commerce Drive & Mostowski Road,Olyphant,PA,18447&markers=size:mid%7Ccolor:blue%7CScott Township,Commerce Drive & Mostowski Road,Olyphant,PA,18447&zoom=15&size=250×75&maptype=roadmap&sensor=false”

    Voila! Up it comes. Hummm, so I tried on the MSTW Dev site and it works just right. (Scroll down to the bottom of the page.)

    So after some digging, it appears Google has changed their API to require a key on installs after some date in 2016. I’m looking at a code fix to get around this.

    I corrected the issue with with the Google Maps API key and uploaded a patch to the development tree. The (only) file you need to replace is mstw-ss-venue-table.php.

    Let me know how this goes.

    BTW, you can also link the venue title/name to the Google map.
