Venue and Organiser Page Not Shown

    hello,

    we got everything working properly. even the “details” link is working. but when clicked on

    – the “venue” link, it sometimes load 404 error and sometimes load the (domain).com/event/venue/(venue name-id/)page but just shows the event information exactly like in (domain).com/event/ page.

    – the “organizer” link, it sometimes load 404 error and sometimes load the (domain).com/event/organizer/(organizer name-id/)page but just shows event information exactly like in (domain).com/event/ page.

    please advise.

    Sounds like your rewrites might be confused; just go to Settings > Permalinks and hit Save (you don’t need to change anything); this should correct any issues.

    Hm, can you give me a public link to the site with issues?

    Do you have any other plugins (or the theme itself) that handle rewrites at all?

    hello,

    the website is still under construction, so it’s a bit messy. this is the link to the “event” page, where we list all our events.

    this website is based on avada wordpress theme template. to minimise incompatibility, and we intentionally try, as much as possible, not to install any plugin. unless it’s essential to the core functionality of the website, such as this eventbrite api; because we have been posting our events on eventbrite for many years already.

    hello,

    we could have mistaken, but when
    – the venue link is clicked on, is it not supposed to show the venue details?
    – the organiser link is clicked on, is it not supposed to show the organiser details?

    … because presently, when either of the above, it doesn’t how anything. that’s why we thought it’s not working as it should.

    Ah, no, that link is an archive for the selected venue or organizer: all events for that venue or organizer (like a category). That’s why “Traders Round Table” only shows one event at the moment, the other event doesn’t have a venue assigned. I do think we need a better representation of venue and organizer details.

    For now, clicking on Details from the single view will take a user to the eventbrite.com page for that event, which has more venue info in the sidebar.

    ok noted. in that case, we’d need to set up our eventbrite “venue” and “orgsniser” profile better then.

    also, if you are planning to develop a paid version with more features, we’d be happy to pay for it.
