Venmo option not appearing on mobile

    I have turned on Paypal donations as the payment option so that I can use both Paypal and Venmo. For some reason, the Venmo button is only showing on my laptop and not on the mobile screen. Is there something I need to do to allow for Venmo to work on mobile?

    I checked your form on mobile and the Venmo option does show up as shown on this screenshot: https://screencast-o-matic.com/i/c3QYb1VOBZL

    Make sure you have opted in for Venmo Payments on the Venmo app:

    That is so strange. I have tried on Firefox, Safari, and Chrome and that button does not show up. Are you saying that the button will automatically show on a laptop/desktop but only on mobile if a person has a Venmo account with payments enabled? Venmo payments are enabled on the plugin that I installed on our website.

    That is correct.

    Customers have to opt-in for Venmo Payments on the Venmo app:

    The Venmo button is delivered by PayPal upon eligibility and all that could be done through GiveWP is disabling the Venmo button. Our plugin gathers the details of the customer and sends this to PayPal. The PayPal server in its turn sends the site the options it deems required. Our plugin does not have any control over that.

    You might want to ask PayPal for their response on this, but I think they will also not be able to tell you much more than we can since every customer is different and when a customer is eligible for the option (from PayPal’s perspective), the option will be shown.
