    I noticed that the Venmo button always appears on my checkout, regardless of whether or not the Venmo app is installed on the device. I don’t believe this is the intended behavior.

    Can you share a link to the site where you’re seeing Venmo always active? PayPal dynamically determines if the Venmo button is supported and will render it if you have it enabled.

    Venmo will in fact work in a web application context even if the customer’s device doesn’t have the Venmo app installed under certain conditions.
