vendors list widget as search field

Our WCMp widget “Vendor List” as you can see here (https://prnt.sc/v2c2da) gives you a search box where you can type the vendor name and it started suggesting you the names, as you can see it here (https://prnt.sc/v2bzpq).

oh, that’s weird because the search box is not visible on my widget. Can you think of any cause of the problem? (I cannot show you the page, it’s under maintenance)

By default, the search box will display every time. Maybe you some theme or plugin conflict. For debugging this please active woocommerce, wc marketplace and default theme like twenty seventeen only. Then check this. If you again facing this issue then let us know.

as a matter of fact, WCMP has been integrated into my theme and heavily tweaked to accomodate its functionality, that’s why activating a default theme breakes the site right away putting it on a “blank screen”.
Plus, on reverting my theme, all the widgets in my sitebar/footer have been deleted!
Is there another way of invetigating this matter?

The other way we may suggest is, create a staging site and then do the testing on that.
