• Hi,

    Everything was working fine, until a few days back. Not sure what the reason was, but now, the Vendor Registration doesn’t seem to be working on our Website.

    On signup, they get a confirmation message on screen, but no mail is sent to the admin and their registration doesn’t show up on the Pending Approval page either for the admin.

    Since it doesn’t show up on the pending approval page or on the notifications, there is no way to approve these Vendor Applications.

    Can you please help me out?

    It’s a critical business need as we are heavily promoting vendor registration currently and it is all going a waste since no registration comes through to us for approval.

    Have you updated any plugins/theme/WordPress recently?

    Please check at wp-admin -> WooCommerce -> Status -> Logs -> fatal_erros log -> is any error generated during registration?

    Hi,

    I updated WordPress to 5.5 today morning but there were multiple issues. So we immediately reverted back to 5.4.2 and everything went back to working fine.

    Regarding Logs, I do not see any section called Fatal Error Logs in the Status->Logs area. Just several lines of text.

    I am able to go and manually change the User type to Vendor from the WordPress Users menu and once that change is done, we are able to view the application details in the Vendor profile.

    However, the mail notifications, Vendor Application queue, etc. aren’t working.

    Please do not update WP to 5.5 right now, it has some issues. Pleas wait atleast 30 days.

    I am able to go and manually change the User type to Vendor from the WordPress Users menu and once that change is done, we are able to view the application details in the Vendor profile.

    – Is this direct vendor registration or are you using paid membership registration?

    We’ve reverted back to WordPress 5.4.2 but the issue still persists.

    Emails are getting sent properly. We are getting Woocommerce order notification emails from the same store.

    We are using normal vendor registration. No payment and no Membership Plans. Just using the Membership plugin for Vendor Registration form. The problem seems to be that the Notification for Admin (notification inside the Marketplace settings for Vendor Approval) and the email notification to admin about new application don’t seem to execute. The data submitted by the Vendor gets recorded and the Vendor’s user also gets created in WordPress.

    Hi,

    I installed the plugin and tried a few registering a few times to check. The email didn’t get triggered and I see nothing in the wp mail logs.

    However, there was a registration yesterday before I had installed the mail log plugin and I received the email notification as well as the notification inside the marketplace with the Approve/Reject option.

    This is how it has been in the last week or so. Some registrations, we get the email and also the notification inside the marketplace with option to Approve/Reject. Others, we don’t get any intimation and there is no option to Accept/Reject from inside the Marketplace section. We have to go into WordPress Users section and manually change the user type from Subscriber to Store Vendor (we have set all new registrations to be as Subscriber before moving to Store Vendor on approval).

    Are you using direct vendor registration option?

    Or, it’s a paid membership subscription registration?

    Yes, all other emails are getting sent properly from the site. We are getting all order notification emails from Woocommerce. Customers are getting the order confirmation emails, delivery update emails, etc. from Woocommerce.

    I don’t see any fatal errors in the Logs for the last few days when at least 3-4 vendor registration notifications didn’t get triggered.

    – When emails are not triggering what user role those users are getting after registration?

    Are you using any other membership or user role manager plugins?

    Hi,

    The registered users are made Subscribers – that’s the setting we’ve kept in the Settings section. So we are constantly having to monitor the Users section to see if there are new Subscribers and change their status to Store Vendor in order to approve their registrations – since we don’t get notifications about their registration on the Notifications section of WCFM.

    No, we only have the 3 WCFM plugins – WCFM, membership for vendor registrations and multivendor marketplace plugin.

    I’m afraid we cannot change email setup since this is a live site with customers placing orders each day. Also, I really think emails aren’t the problem because WCFM vendor notification and Approval options also don’t show up. It’s like the registration gets recorded but nothing happens after that – the WCFM notification for approval, email notification, etc.

    Also, we’ve noticed that it only happens for some registrations. We are currently getting 2-3 registrations each day and this failure happens only only 1-2 registrations, for the rest, we are properly receiving email that Vendor has signed up and also the WCFM notification for approving that vendor registration.
