Re the latest WC Vendor update, Vendor Dashboard does displays on Windows 10 with Microsoft Edge browser but not with Chrome Browser, tested on multiple computers. It does display on my old windows 7 laptop with an old chrome browser.

Assumption latest WC Vendor not compatible with latest chrome browser.

Can this be attended to please.

And please don’t suggest I change chrome browser settings, the public is using chrome as is and I cannot expect them to change their chrome settings to be able to use my website.

I saw previous post with same problem with a suggestion of having to change themes, not a solution…. and then the post went private?

Let me retract the fact that it works on old chrome on windows 7. It worked once now no more.

And no changing the theme to Storefront also did not work……….

    Hi @horizondigital

We test across all browsers and operating systems and have had no reports of this. Are you sure this is related to WC Vendors? I’ve tested this with storefront on windows 10 and the latest Chrome and it is working in 4 of my installs.

Is this for WC Vendors or WC Vendors Pro? Do you get any errors in your console with Chrome? What other recent updates have you completed?

We only suggest switching themes to determine if this is a theme issue or something else. This is never a suggestion to change your theme permanently.

Can you perform our recommended debugging steps to determine what if anything else has changed?

WordPress 5.8 was a large update that could have affected several plugins and themes.

We do not have the permissions to change the visibility of forum posts on here.

Hi I tested it on the WordPress Version pre 5.8. and on 5.8

    I have WC Vendors.
I cannot upgrade to your very latest version as it is PHP incompatible with my host.

I have done everything on your debugging list including changing themes with no change.

I have a number of WP websites running and I use the Cosmos Theme and I have no problems with anything else displaying on Chrome.

My tests include 4 computers of 4 different clients and they all give the same results.

Why would MS Edge work but not Chrome.

I have uninstalled WC Vendors and Installed WCFM in frustration.

I will however do an uninstall and a reinstall WC Vendors one last time.

    (@horizondigital)

Well that went pearshaped as well as now I cannot reinstall WC Vendors as it is now incompatible with my hosting companies php.

    Hi @horizondigital

Are you getting any console errors in Chrome? Can you provide screenshots of what it is displaying? Exactly what do you mean by the vendor dashboard is not displaying?

What version of PHP is your hosting company providing?

I would like to help you get this resolved, however, we have never had the dashboard stop showing.

    cheers,

    Jamie.

    Hi Jamie.

I updated to WP 5.8 and updated tp PHP 7.2.

I deleted WCFM and re installed WC Vendors from scratch.

And hey presto now the Vendor Dashboard works on Chrome.

    Thank you for your assistance.

Sorreee it worked exactly only once after all that.

So I am at exactly the same point when we started.

Vendor Dashboard does not display on Chrome in Windows 10

    Thread Starter Jean Pierre Nortje

    (@horizondigital)

It worked on my client computers so I started googling.

Answer —– Vendor Dashboard behaves or looks to Chrome like a cookie or some previous browser data.

Solution ……. clear all your browser data and cookies and hey presto Vendor Dashboard works

I hope this helps the next client Justin

After 5 days and nights finally the solution!!!!!!!!!!!! jaaaaaay.

    Hi @horizondigital

I’m glad you got that resolved. Thanks for letting us know.

    Have a great week.

    cheers,
    Jamie.
