• Hello, WordPress!

I am running WP 3.2.1 and using Vaultpress to back up my blog. I installed a couple of security plug-ins, and now Vaultpress won’t work, even if I deactivate the new plugins. Here is a list of the plugins I am running:

    Akismet 2.5.3
    Better WordPress Minify 1.0.5
    BulletProof Security .46.4
    Jetpack 1.1.3
Login Lockdown 1.5. (This is one of the new ones).
PuSH Press 0.1.7.1 (Not sure what this is or why I’m running it–I think it was part of the default installation).
Semisecure Login Reimagined 3.2.0. (Another of the new ones)
    Vaultpress 0.0904
WordPress.com Custom CSS 1.5 (again, not sure why I’m running this).
    WP-Print 2.50
    WP Super Cache 0.9.9.9
    WP To Twitter 2.3.8.
    WPTouch 1.9.34

Vaultpress tells me: “VaultPress is having trouble contacting your site. If the plugin is disabled please activate it before adding access information below. If you need assistance feel free to contact the VaultPress Safekeepers.” On the other hand, the SFTP access seems to be set up properly: “VaultPress can directly access your site files via FTP/SFTP.”

Any thoughts about what’s wrong or how to fix this?

    Thank you!

  • tfolkman, I’m suspecting that adding Jetpack to one of my blogs disabled Vaultpress for some reason. It may have something to do with a conflict between different wordpress.com IDs.

The one used for the wordpress stats is different from the one used for Vaultpress. I have asked the Vaultpress team, and am waiting for an answer.

    I’m having the same issue here… ??
