VAT validation takes over 60 seconds

  • Hi, I installed this plugin on the linked website. The EU VAT number validation works, but it takes just over 60 seconds. Could this caused by a setting on the website’s server? Or is VIES just very slow to respond? How could I troubleshoot and solve this please?

    In such a case, could you please change the value of “First validation method” under the “Validation & Progress” section and see if it works better for you?
