Vat Rate For added Countries

I have used the Add Countries plugin to add Northern Ireland in the UK for Delivery purposes.
But on the Checkout when Northern Ireland is selected no Vat gets applied to the cart when it should be the same as the UK Vat rate.
Is there a way around this?
