    Hi there,

    I am starting a new thread to an issue I had before. The last reply from you ended up in my spam filter, why I didn’t see it. Sry.

    Here’s the description of my issue again:

    I have enabled VAT in WooCommerce, as I will need to have a zero-rate VAT for Norway, which is not part of the EU. Hence, I will need to display 0 VAT on the checkout page for Norway. For the remaining countries the VAT is 25%. However, the VAT field displays 0 VAT right now for all countries, despite I created the countries in the VAT list.

    All my prices in the webshop are shown with VAT 25%, and exclusive VAT on the checkout page. VAT is based on the customer’s billing address. So in order for it to be correct, it should for instance display base price 800, VAT 200. And for Norway it should display base price 800, VAT 0.

    I am using Cartflows plugin for the checkout page, but it still shows 0 VAT for all countries when it’s deactivated. Is there a fix, or a way to solve this?
    I’ve tried a lot of different fixes, but in case I have overlooked something, please let me know.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hi @huusmann,

    Those screenshots are helpful.

    You need to remove all the entries for Statskode. That is what is preventing VAT from being applied to your orders. Essentially you’re saying that VAT should only be charged for customers that live in the state of Denmark within the country of Denmark.

    There’s no state of Denmark within the Country of Denmark so the conditions for charging VAT are never met. Same goes for all of the other countries.

    The Stattskode should only be used when you want to limit the tax to a specific state within a country e.g. Malmo, Sweden or Copenhagen, Denmark.

    When you want the tax to apply to the entire country, only supply the country code with no state code.

    Hi there!

    I removed the Statskode and now it’s displaying correctly! What a relief!
    Thanks for your help, much appreciated!

    @huusmann,

    That’s great to hear. Thanks for the update.

    I’ll go ahead and mark this thread as resolved.
