VAT not deleted since update?

    Hello
    the plugin worked correctly (free version), as long as you chose a European country with an intra-community VAT number (unverified), and the VAT was removed in this case. But recently it no longer works.The VAT field is optional, and we have not set up number verification. However, even when the VAT number field is completed, the VAT is not deleted. Any idea what could be blocking?

    Just to be sure, even if the VAT is valid, then the VAT is not exempt from the checkout, am I right? Please let us know.

    We have disabled the verification of VAT numbers because it always tells us it is invalid.
