• Hello

    I’m using the following:
    WPC Composite Products for WooCommerce
    WPC Product Bundles for WooCommerce

I checked the provided documentation, but this does not fix my issue.
    https://doc.wpclever.net/woosb/tax-rate/

I run a webshop, that uses multiple VAT-scenarios.
Prices are setup to be shown ex. VAT in the cart and checkout.
This is due to the fact that I need to highlight what products are with/without VAT. I have both private sellers and companies asigned to their own webshop, therefor the VAT would need to be different if they’re VAT-registered (or not).

The WooCommerce TAX/VAT is setup be entered including VAT.
This brings me to the issue when I come to the CART and CHECKOUT.
These are setup to exclude the VAT (show ex. VAT) – and the prices from both the composite and bundles plugins show the prices incl. VAT in the cart and checkout.
This means that the price shown from these bundels/composite products are incl. VAT in the cart and therefor the VAT is calculated on the price included VAT.

    Example:
A product is setup to cost 100 DKK in the shop (incl. vat).
In the cart/checkout this product would(should!) show 80 DKK (ex 25% VAT).
The VAT would then be calculated from this price in the sub-totals (VAT = 20 DKK).The total price incl. VAT should then be 100 DKK incl. VAT.

However – the price that I’m not getting is calculating the VAT from the price (incl. VAT). So it looks like the following instead:

Product in cart shows 100 DKK (ex.VAT) – should havve been 80 DKK.
Now the wrong VAT is added to this product (+ 25 dkk)
The price showing is 125 DKK – which is not correct.

Is there any way to fix this on how the VAT is setup from these plugins – without changing the defeault settings within WooCommerce TAX/VAT? – I need these settings to be showing products ex. VAT in the cart and checkout – this plugins is not compliant with this setting – thanks.

  • Hi @hexoliving,

For your information: In order to create a smart bundle that includes bundled products with different tax rates, your bundle must use the auto-calculated price,
not the manual price (price entered in the General tab). Then, when you add products (with predefined tax rates on their own product page) to a smart bundle,
the tax rates will be auto-calculated into the bundle’s total.

I have checked the tax calculation on our test site with only our WPCstore, WooCommerce and our plugin. Everything is working just fine.

If you are using an external plugin to manage the tax calculation on your site, I am afraid this is a conflict with third-party elements.

We offer a free customization service for Premium users, so if you need help with external plugin conflicts, kindly contact our developer at our Support Forum wpc.ticksy.com.

    Best regards.
