VAT deducted without VAT number

    Hi Diego,
    Just noticed that VAT is deducted even when no vat number is entered. When I change country to a EU country VAT is already deducted. Shouldn’t this happen after VAT number is entered?

    The EU VAT Assistant doesn’t apply a VAT deduction unless a valid VAT number is entered. If you see the VAT being removed when changing country, the cause is most likely an incorrect configuration of the VAT rates (i.e. the country you selected doesn’t have a VAT rate assigned).

    I would suggest to review the tax rate settings in WooCommerce > Settings > Tax, where you can enter the appropriate rate for each country. For more information: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/setting-up-taxes-in-woocommerce/

    Perfect, thanks a lot! Wasn’t aware needed to specify each EU country.
