    I see you’re still using V3.6.4 of our plugin. Please note our latest version is already V4.2, and since the release of V3.6.4, a number of ESI related issues have been fixed. If you have any issue with ESI, I’d encourage you to upgrade your plugin to our latest version. Go to LiteSpeed Cache Toolbox –> [8] Beta Test, click “Use latest GitHub Master commit” and then “Upgrade”.

    in additional , it may also depends on what kind of ESI function you are looking for , and how is your ESI block set

    if you just want to make ESI no-cache on certain widget or shortcode , it will work without vary group to be set more than default status.
