    Hi there,

I’m interested in using this plugin, along with the Conditional Notifications Add-On and had a question.

Is it possible to query various subscription lists in the “Send To” options when editing a notification? I saw you can pinpoint individual users and user roles, but couldn’t immediately see if I can query any lists?

My goal is to allow users to subscribe to certain lists that are actually 1:1 to my blog post categories. If you subscribe to “News” articles, then users on the “News” sub list will receive a new “News” blog post when it gets published.

    Thanks!

    – Jon

    Hi @jonsunlu,
    Thanks for your message.

BNFW is limited to WordPress users and user roles (and email addresses, when using the Send to Any Email add-on).
When you say ‘lists’, where are these lists stored? If they were a user role, you should be able to use them in BNFW.

    Hi there,

Ah I see. So i’m using another newsletter mailing program called MailPoet that allows subscribers to subscribe to different lists. Within MailPoet’s plugin, they generated these lists that I believe live in their own plugin folder somewhere…

But it sounds like this plugin is limited to only IDing individual users and user roles, correct?

    Hi @jonsunlu,
Yes, that is correct – BNFW is limited to native WordPress users and user roles only at this time.
