Since today my products with variations doesn’t display a price on front end. If you add it to cart price is right. Everything is fine on backend, prices are set.

I’ve de-activated all plugins except WooCommerce and revert to Twenty-Fifteen but it still have the problem. I’ve run the updater when I update WooCommerce to 2.4.

The only way I’ve found to solve the problem is to edit a product, don’t change anything and click on update. Then when you go on the product page and price displays.

I don’t want have to do this for all product as I have more than 3000 products.

How can I solve this issue.

    Thanks.

  • Having a similar issue. Variations show correctly in cart (i.e. size, adding name or number to a product), but when you try to select different variations on the product page, it doesn’t change. Customer unable to see exactly what size/name/number options they are choosing.
Website goes live tomorrow, hoping someone has a quick solution.

    Thanks

Eagleinksp post your own thread. Posting in other users is not helpful esp when the issue is not the same.

therocks36 would need to see the issue. It sounds like your parent product is no in sync with the children, and this could be due to a bad import. Did you import products with a plugin?

Yes we use the official WooThemes plugin to import: https://www.woothemes.com/products/product-csv-import-suite/

If I do an export every children as the correct parent so I re-imported the listing (post_parent and ID only) and it was solved.

Never got any error tough when doing a previous import which I should have got one.

It’s solved for me so thank you!

BTW I’m using the last version of the Product CSV Import Suite plugin 1.10.2 if it helps you.

So I made numerous import through the day and found that with the new variations system if the import crash the prices are not displayed on frontend.

Before update 2.4 when it was crashing I was able to begin at the point it crashed and all the previous import products where good.

This is a major issue when having 16000 variations to update because splitting them in 16 files of 1000 products takes a while.

I think that should be changed so the behavior is the same as it was before which means that when WooCoomerce import plugin shows “Merge Successful” for a product it is really fully merged.

    Thanks.

What do you mean crashed? Are you forgetting to import some data for variations?

For some reasons (maybe sometimes internet goes down locally) the import just stops. Let’s say you look at your import it’s at #1250 and ten minutes later it’s still at #1250. No errors, pages still shows the waiting bars at bottom like if everything is normal.

When that happens before I just wrote down the number it was at (#1250), delete #1-1250 in my CSV and then re-import from 1251. When I do that now the price disappear on my frontend so now I need to start over from the beginning.

    Thanks.

If you use SKUs you can resume by importing again. Not sure why it would stall though – you may want to check your logs.

Since WooCommerce 2.4 I need to start over.

Where can I check logs for this plugin? Next time it stops I’ll look at it.

    Thanks.

Found what is causing the issue with pricing not displayed after an import. When I do a parent product import (any column) automatically the price are not displaying on customer side. I need to upload the corresponding variations, post_parent and ID only, to have the price show up again.

I had to update a column for all my parents 2 days ago and 12 hours later we found pricing were not displaying for all our variable products. I had to do a variation import of all 16000 SKUs (6 hours to complete) and now I’m back with prices.

This happens only since the 2.4 update.

    Thanks.
