    Hi there,

I am adding a tshirt to my shop, it is available in:
    Black | White
    Mens | Womens | Junior

    The adults range are available in XS | S | M | L | XL | 2XL
    The junior range is available in 2 | 4 | 6 | 8 | 10 | 12 | 14 | 16

The front page is showing all size variations for all styles (Mens/Womens/Junior) despite the sizes not being available.

I have read that this is an issue with over 30 product variables, I’m wondering if there’s a work around?

    Thank you.
    Kate

  • Hello Kate,

You’ve correctly identified that having over 30 product variations can sometimes cause issues due to the way WooCommerce handles variations.

However, there are a few ways to manage this.

Firstly, you can try to reduce the number of variations by grouping similar ones. For example, you can create a variation called ‘Adult Sizes’ and include all the sizes for men and women under this. Similarly, you can create another variation called ‘Junior Sizes’ and include all the junior sizes under this.

Secondly, you can split your product into multiple products. For example, you could have separate products for Men’s T-shirts, Women’s T-shirts, and Junior T-shirts. This might also make it easier for your customers to find what they are looking for.

Lastly, a plugin such as Variations as Single Products for WooCommerce allows you to control which variations are displayed on the shop page, category pages, and search and filter results pages. This way, you can choose to only display the variations that are available.

Please try these solutions and let us know if you need further assistance.
