I am fairly new to woocommerce and have question. I am going to create variations on my site and when I was testing, it looks like a customer would need to choose all the variations before a price is shown. Am I doing something wrong? I don’t understand why my customer would need to choose options that they may not need. Thank you.

    Hi @windowst,

it looks like a customer would need to choose all the variations before a price is shown.

This is the default behavior of WooCommerce, actually. This is because different variation/ attribute combinations can cost different amounts, so WooCommerce won’t calculate the price of a variable product until all selections have been made.

Your other option would be to use an extension like Product Add-Ons, so your customers could select paid add-ons to a simple product.

    Best,

    Ross

    Hi again @windowst!
