Hey! I am using woocommerce on my wordpress website. The first issue im facing is that when i select any product and go to its page, when i scroll down, i want it to show the related products and its doing that but for these shown products, its not showing its variations, its saying only select options, but i want it to show a variation like in the main shop page.

Another issue is that when the cart is empty, its showing the New in store section with products, and the products listed down there have an entirely different style than the ones in the shop or any other page also havent found in the settings where i can edit the cart pages (at least when its empty).

You can check the website out and see what i mean for both of these issues. If you are not able to check the website mentioned, just notify me and i will send pictures that will reveal what i mean.

    Thanks

  • Hi there @peterchaaya ??

Thanks for reaching out to Woo Support!

Variations in related products, Empty card new in store products

From what I gather, what is needed here is to have a unified look and feel throughout the store’s pages. Like so. Whereas, currently the related products appear like so, and the New in store section in the Cart page, like so. Am I getting this?

This sounds related to the variations plugin installed at the site.

    Hey, @peterchaaya!

I can see the products on the empty cart really do look different from the store.

But I was not able to replicate this issue on my website, there, the style is the same.

Can you please switch to a default theme such as Storefront and check if the issue with the two different styles persists?

Please let us know your findings so we can assist you further.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Have a wonderful day!

    Hey!

Here is how the shop page look with Store Front theme: https://snipboard.io/UycSJ6.jpg
And the empty cart page: https://snipboard.io/fgHY9P.jpg

(And BTW the “related products” in the old theme in a product page have the same style so the problem is only in the “empty cart” new in store products. If it is “unfixable”, is there a way to disable the “new in store” when empty cart?)

I don’t know how to compare, its different from my previous theme so i sent you these two screen shots. What should i do?

    Thanks

    Hi there @peterchaaya ??

the New in store section in the Cart page, like so isnt only about the variations, its also about the styling. Notice how the style is different from the normal shop page?

From what I gather, the variation swatches plugin does not support the Cart page, based on what is available on its main plugin page. It is best to clarify with its support team.

Likewise, the New in store section in the Cart page is either made possible by a plugin, or a theme template. As a next step on this, I’d recommend checking the settings for Blocksy theme/plugin, and reaching out to its support channel.

I trust that points you in the right direction, but if you have more questions, let us know.

    We’re happy to help.

    Hey!

Thank you for your reply. You mean that for the styling of the products in the empty cart page is different because of the theme so i have to contact the theme support. Also the variations are not shown in the cart page because the plugin doesnt support it but its also happening in the related products in a product page, is that normal? Also is there a way to disable the new in store section in empty cart and/or replace it a button like “Go back to store”? If i misunderstood something please tell me .

    Thanks alot

    Hello peterchaaya,

    Thank you for your reply.

Indeed, the styling inconsistencies you’re observing on the empty cart page are likely related to the Blocksy Theme you’re using. As such, reaching out to the theme’s support team would be the best course of action to address these styling concerns.

Similarly, for the issue with variation options not being displayed in the cart and related products section, this functionality is handled by the Blocksy Theme and Variation Swatches for WooCommerce.

Regarding the ‘New In Store’ section on the empty cart page and your interest in replacing it with a ‘Go back to store’ button, this too would typically fall under the purview of your theme’s capabilities and settings. The Blocksy Theme support should be able to assist you with this customization or provide you with steps on how to implement it.

If you have any more questions or need assistance with WooCommerce-specific features, feel free to reach out. We’re here to help ensure your WooCommerce experience is as smooth and successful as possible. ??

    Best regards,
