Variations dropdown not visible until “add to basket” click

  • Hi!

    I’m working on a client’s webshop and an issue has arisen. Some of the products have variants, which used to work fine. But now, the dropdown doesn’t appear front-end at first.

    It’s only once you click “add to basket” that the dropdown appears, and a note tells you that you missed a required field.

    We’re using WooCommerce 3.8.2 and Divi theme 3.0.27 (with a child theme)

    I’ve tried deactivating woocommerce-related plugins and removing extra wc functions. So far with no luck.

    The site is in Danish, but the link posted leads to a specific product that should have variants so you can try out the error.

    Anyone ever had this problem? I’ve been googling for days.

  • The console shows a javascript error in something unrelated to variations. Javascript is fussy, and one error can stop other javascripts from working properly.

    The unrelated error is coming from the script that is adding “Its a duck” and a link right at the very bottom of the page. The script has a missing closing bracket after the argument list. Is this supposed to be there? If you can remove or correct this script, its more likely the variations will work.

    Similar issue, but my drop down show up, but just no variations within them. I see this was an issue back in ver 2.x but we’re at 3.2.1

    I’ve been able to successfully ad one set of attributes/variations, but any additional ones and the options don’t show in the drop down.
