Variation works on product page but not shop page

    I did this: Set up site and added WP e-Commerce Grid View PRO, WP E-Commerce shop styling and WP E-Commerce shop styling Transaction Results Page upgrade.

    I expected WP e-Commerce to do this: The site has a shop page that list products in a grid and this links to individual product pages. You can buy either from the shop page or go to the individual product page for more description and then buy. I would like the variations option to work whether you buy from the shop page or the product page.

    Instead it did this: One product has a variation (2 options), when you purchase through the product page you have to state the option (or variation) however if you purchase from the shop page you get taken to the checkout without needing to add the variation. I would like it to be mandatory for users to have to choose one of the two options before they can check out.
