Variation Weight

Is there a way to edit a single variation’s weight under Products –> Variations? I want to set a specific variation to weigh a different amount than the other variations, but I don’t want to go through and edit a thousand existing products and I want it to be set to that weight from now on with every new product. I know I can do it on a per product basis, and I know that it does this with price – but I want to do it with weight.
