Variation is shown despite not existing
-
Hi there
I have the following situation:
Multiple variations. One of them being “Mattress softness” (Auführung) and one “Paket” (Package). Mattress softness can be hard or soft and package can be either 1, 2 or 3. However, Package 1 can only have mattress softness hard. Not soft.
I have set woocommerce variations to any mattress softness in packages 2 and 3 and with package one I set it to mattress softness “hard”. However, when I do that it shows me still “soft” option in front-end, despite not existing in backend.
I played about and if I remove “any variations” in package 2 & 3 and explicitly add additional variations that state Package 2 / soft and Package 2 / hard, it will still show package one with option soft, but message appears that this variation doesnt exist.
HOWEVER, its not feasable for me to add all the additional variations always stating whether its soft or hard. Its always any unless I state otherwise. Also, I dont like that the customer can select an option, that then shows “isnt available”. it be best to be hidden (never show “soft” as an option in the first place with package 1) or to grey option out.
Can anyone help with this?
