Variation and Featured picture mixups

    Variation image goes back to featured image every other variation click. Example: Size: small>variation image, medium>featured image, large>variation image.

    Doesn’t matter which variation is selected. You can go thru them in any order, it will always bring back the featured photo every other click. However, if you mouse over the picture with the wrong (featured) picture displayed, it will show the bigger picture of the correct (variation) picture.

    The workaround I have found out is to upload the variation pictures in the product gallery, then it will go to that specific picture for all variation clicks.

    Is there a fix though?

    Could you send screenshots of how your variable products and images are set up (before doing the work around)? Do you also have a link to your product?

    My website isn’t live yet. I still have it in maintenance mode, so I was wondering if you could understand the problem from the pictures in the link above.

    All i did was mouse over the big product picture in untitled1 and untitled2.

    That’s odd that that is happening. Have you done any conflict testing yet? Could you try doing so by temporarily switching your theme to Storefront and then deactivate ALL plugins except for one – WooCommerce core? Making a back up is recommended, and if preferable, testing on a dev/staging site.

    Same issue when deactivating all plugins. I cloned my site to a new domain with deactivated plugins and storefront theme here

    The issues is with the product gallery. The problem is fixed as soon as I upload the images used for the variation to the product gallery OR delete all the images in the product gallery.
