Variants not importing

    I’m optimistic about this plugin and wish to upgrade if I can get it to fully work. I have 7k products, but the importer only found ~400. It seems the plugin did not import any of the variations. Is this a pro feature?

    – I can confirm that the products are all set to “Available” for the shopify private app
    – I can also confirm that I set read permissions for “products” AND “Product listings and the products are all active and published on shopify

    I watched your video and read reports of the same problem where you stated that you had to and can’t find any other reasons this isn’t working.

    Somehow product type can not be set to variable although variations are all migrated. I add the fix in the latest version 1.1.3.5, please update it.

    I did exactly this,

    – Updated the plugin
    – deleted all the products
    – and also deleted import history just in case
    It seems to have detected the same number of products and they’re getting imported and simple products again. It’s still running but the import status bar say says 200 out of 438 complete the catalog has 7k items. So it’s still not working…

    This time all the currencies seem to be in Euros even though I didn’t change any settings. This isn’t the main issue but FYI. Thanks for your help.

    correction:pounds not euros(the shopify store is set to USD) Not sure if this is related to your attempt at fixing the variant import issue

    That’s weird, the fix is only to set type for variable products correctly. I had already tested it before releasing the new update.
    By saying you have 7k products, do you mean variants?

    Yes, variants. everything combined totals 7k. Your importer imported 438 items but no variants unfortunately. It’s not working.

    The number 438 is the number of products, not variants https://prnt.sc/12i7zxc
    Each variant is equal to 1 variation in WooCommerce.
    Please try changing product type of a migrated product that has more than 1 variants to variable and let me know if its variations appears.

    I restarted from scratch, started with your updated version and it worked. The products got imported as variable and the variants showed up without any changes required thanks for your responsiveness and quick fix. I’ll be upgrading shortly! Thanks again

    I purchased the plugin after this but noticed the codecanyon version is 1.1.1 and was last updated in February. Have the latest changes been merged with the premium version? Thanks!

    Also, it states in your docs that settings will be saved after upgrading and installing. Just so you’re aware, they did not. Had to reenter them…. not major, just fyi.

    For pro or commercial product support please contact the developer directly on their site. This includes any pre-sales topics as well.

    As the developer is aware, commercial products are not supported in these forums. I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there.

    I posted here because the problem had been resolved in the non-commercial version which I initially had, my apologies if this wasn’t the right place.
