• In recent updates, the Variant products SKU is not being generated as a unique SKU as before. It used to be: 8000-1, 8000-2, etc… but now all of them showing as 8000.

    Hi there!

I started using this pluging recently and it has everything I was looking for but actually I am having the same problem. The variations are getting the same SKU code of the main one.

    Could you fix it please?

    Thanks you!

    Hello @xantonius

Could you please provide more specific details about the circumstances under which variable SKUs are not being generated for you? I’ve double-checked everything, and they are being generated as before on my end.

Could you possibly screenshot the settings you have configured and describe in more detail what you’re expecting? As I mentioned, everything is generating correctly for me.

Hello @alexodiy. Thanks for you replying.

Of course, I add you one picture of the pluging configuration. Its a clothes shop with many different variants of products (colors, sizes…) and we need the pluging to generate differents sku′s for different variants.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hello, @xantonius

Thank you for your message. The issue lies in the “Variation Separator” field where you inserted quotation marks, resulting in incorrect data processing. If you remove the quotation marks from this field, the error will disappear.

It seems that users may have misunderstood that the quotation marks were meant to illustrate an example, and instead, they inputted all symbols directly with the quotation marks. In the next version of the plugin, I will implement a filter to prevent the insertion of quotation marks into similar fields in the future.

If you have any further questions or suggestions, please feel free to reach out.

    And to address them specifically:

@fasbg @threebor, please take note of the information provided above. It might help you understand the issue better and avoid similar problems in the future. If you have any questions or need further clarification, feel free to ask. Thank you!
