Variances with variable # attributes

    NB: I had this post before but received only irrelevant comments. Then the topic was closed before anyone could give a helpful answer with the suggestion to open a new topic. Well… Here it is (again):

    Hi. I am creating a site to sell music. The music is available on CD, as download and on Tape Reel.

    The Tape Reel have further attributes: Reel Size and Equalization.

    Question: How can I set this up so the user does not have to choose further attributes when selecting CD or Download? So the user will be presented a choice for Reel Size and Equalization when he selects Tape Reel, but the options will not be required when selecting CD or download.

    Any help will be appreciated.
