Good morning, I would need some information. I have a variable product, I have created variables and variations. Is it possible that when the user sees this product some variables are already selected? Is it also possible to vary the price based on the variables? For example, if the user selects variable 1 it costs “x”, if the user selects variable 2 it costs “y”? Thanks in advance.

  • You can do both – each variation in the Variations tab can have it’s own price, stock, tax etc

Ypu can also select the default variation for that product here too

Thanks for the reply. Why if I select a default value does not display it in the front end?

The price at the top won’t change unfoirtunatly – but the correct attribute proce should appear below the dropdown after the option has been chosen – do you have a linbk to a product on your site I can see?

Unfortunately, the site is not yet online. If I select a default attribute, the user always exits “Select an option” instead of the default attribute.

    Hi there,

If you have a default variation set as seen below:

the product page will load with that variation selected as long as those variations have been created:

    Hi there,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
