Variables or dynamic value in display posts shortcode

Hello
Two questions :

1. First, is it possible to insert a variable or dynamic value into the display posts shortcode ? It seems possible to include the author (with current word, I think, but I’m not sure). If yes, is it possible to know what are the variables we can use ?
2. If possible, how can we do that ? A shortcode into the shortcode? Something else ?
