Variable (virtual) Subscriptions not automatically completed

    Hi there,

    we are selling variable subscriptions with stripe, but somehow the orders are not directly put on “completed”, even though we activated “Capture charge immediately” and set our subscription product variations to “virtual”. What is going wrong here?

    We have the current version of WP, WC and the stripe plugin and tested the behaviour with all other plugins disabled.

    Is it possible to auto-complete the orders? Why do we have to manually complete them, if the payment was handled successfully?

    This is not an issue with Stripe but that’s how WooCommerce works. The order will not “by default” go into completed unless the product is virtual and downloadable.

    So I would suggest you make the product downloadable as well.
