Variable produict configuration missing product rtpe options

Thanks for reaching out.

To manage your product variations, such as enabling virtual/downloadable options and managing stock, please navigate to the product editing page.

There, you can find the ‘Product data’ box, where you can select ‘Variable product’. Once you’ve done this, you should be able to see the ‘Variations’ tab. Click on this, and you will find all the variation options including ‘Enabled’, ‘Virtual’, ‘Downloadable’, and ‘Manage stock’.

As I stated, the options are not there. The yellow box in the image shows the section in your screen capture, but you are showing a Simple product and that is where they are for these. The red box shows where these are supposed to be for a Variable product, under each Variation. The green box shows the HTML where these are listed and is a section directly after the SKU field so they should be in the red box.

Thanks for the report.

This kind of issue is commonly caused by a conflict. Since you have over 90 plugins active, one of them might be the cause. Can you please run a conflict test to check?

To test, you’ll first want to change the theme on your site to Storefront, then check to see if the issue is still present. If that resolves the issue, you’ll want to get in touch with your theme’s developer and see if they have an update or fix for you.

If changing the theme doesn’t help, you’ll want to deactivate all plugins except for WooCommerce and take a look. If that fixes the problem, re-enable the other plugins one by one (gradually), checking after each, to see where the issue is coming from.

— Be sure you have a good backup in place of your full site and database. You can ask your host for backup functionality or you can consider using a service like Jetpack. If something goes wrong, you will be able to restore it.

— Also, you can consider using a plugin like Health Check & Troubleshooting. This is a plugin developed by the WordPress community and it is helpful to disable plugins without affecting your current site visitors.

— It is important to consider as well a staging functionality in case you would not like to touch your production site (you can ask your host if they offer this service), or you can use WP Staging for quickly spinning up a new test site.

As a follow-up, I first tested the Theme and there was no change. So I then deactivated a group of plugins. Once I did this, the options were available. I then began reactivating the plugins one at a time and was able to activate all the plugins and still get the options to show. I have no idea why this may have been, but it is now working and I am not fighting the issue.
