Variable Products using Raw Material

Currently I have two types of variable products. One type has individual product for each variable. The other is variable sizes made up from the same raw material. My problem is they both show up in “Products” and “Stock Central”. The variable products made up of Raw Material I don’t want them to because they don’t really have inventory counts the Raw Material does. There is no real way of separating the two in a report unless there is something I’m not doing right.
Also the export data to pdf is not working in ATUM. All I get is a white page browser page and a pinned CPU. The only way to fix it is to restart the apache web server.
Any hints or tips in solving these 2 issues would be appreciated.
